Possibly but i would try with a close friends gentle dog first Dogs pick up on fear big time seek out a dog and you can conquer the fear with first prior to buying one

Find someone you know with a friendly dog and make yourself uncomfortable, you can't overcome anything if you do nothing. Might not be worth BUYING a dog as you'll spend money and potentially give a dog hope of a nice home without actually being able to provide it.

My grandmother has this collar and she only uses it when we go on hikes or walks because he always wants to chase birds but he’s so strong and we can’t hold him back and he just slips out of his harness we don’t keep it on him permanently though
