Legends never die! Greetings to everyone here! I suppose that world looked different when Johnny was here with us. I'm in my 20's right now and thanks to Johnny Cash I can feel the energy and "vibe" from these times. World seemed to be different, people seemed to be different to each other. And when I see new comments below I smile. This means that Johnny is still alive! He lives in everyone of us when we are listening to his music. Stay healthy cowboys and cowgirls! :D Live every day like it's your last. We live only once. Make this adventure beautiful. It's all up to you! :)

we have lost some great artists in the last few years .I loved Lemmy from Motorhead .I was raised on johnny ,conway twitty jim reeves charley pride etc etc.I am coming up 50 yrs & have been into alt rock punk.But it is always these old guys who bring me to tears at times.Enjoy all music my young friend .You have found a good friend in johnny .Read his auto-biography ,it has as many lessons & wisdom as his music .

I heard this album when i was 5, visiting my Dad! I'm 30 now and he's 79 in 3 month. I can say that he gave me 50 % of my music taste! My dear mum passed away with 56 years because of lung cancer. 15 years earlier she survived leukemia after 2 years of fighting. Thats where i have to thank her for the other 50% in music taste and also emotion-control through music😅🙏✨ longest comment on youtube since 30 years🎊⌚🎶

That was still gut music back then. I'm 29years old now and I love all the music and everything from the 50`s actually I'm a fan of Elvis Presley in the 50's and 60's but I also love to listen to Johnny cash. I'm definitely born too late

Jonny war der grösste! Als Lehrling vor 55 Jahren habe ich Verstärker gebaut um ihn besser hören zu können; leider gingen dabei auch Scheiben zu bruch...heute beginnt mein Blut immer noch zu kochen wenn ich ihn höre! Er war der beste!

I was lucky to be at his concert in Prague, I guess in 1978 in the Sports Hall, but just a fantastic musical experience. I have almost all of his CDs and some great Vinyl, I also saw the movie Walk Line, I like to listen to Johnny Cash ... Joe from Prague

This compilation is a great start, but a bit misnamed: how could you fit the best of Johnny Cash into just over an hour? You could by playing it at 10x normal speed, I suppose, but then the boom-chicka-boom would be lost.

Folsom Prison reminds of the guys who were driving 16-wheeler past us across the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, from NYC to LA or something, direct. Maybe they were bored, drugged, drunk or just needed to shite, they could be quite someones to encounter on your interstate way home..:) All lines occupied, and there were both up- and down- extra lanes on the interstate.. Probably drinking coffee and smoking big cigars!? A good one!
