Yesterday's victory showed the gap between the first 11 and some of our rotating squad members who played against Sporting Lisbon last week, namely the lack of back-up options in midfield. This is an area that will need to be improved greatly going into the Champions League next season, especially if we want to stand a chance of reaching the semi-finals. It was great to see Rob Holding's outstanding performance against Palace too. Ben White was amazing Sunday, but what I've been saying all season is that what makes Arsenal so good this season is that it is SOOOO difficult to decide who the MOTM is each week. I know that Saka was awarded it for his work and his brace, but I mean this Sunday ANY one of the starters and several of the subs could have merited the MOTM recognition. THAT is why we're such a good team and (IMHO) still better than the Citizens and deserving of the title. Now, let's win it!

I take one game at a time and refuse to say Arsenal will win the league until they win the league.. this season you can see it’s a different Arsenal team. It is fun and joy to watch Arsenal games again. Everyone is playing great and with heart but there is one guy who is everywhere in the field. He is GRANIT XHAKA. Most of the time he is in the midfield where he dominates but very fast he can adapt and join the defence and play as a great deffender or join the attack players, deliver magnifcient passes with his left foot and create chances or even score goals like he did in the last twoo games

I feel Arteta is doing the right thing with choosing Trossard over Jesus. GJ9 is still going through the obvious readjustment after a long injury. I am curious to see them play together, though. If Trossard gave Martinelli his fire back, maybe he can do the same with Jesus and help him get the goal he so desperately seeks.

Agreed as a former sweeper, it’s very troublesome when we can’t keep a clean sheet against a side having problems finishing. I think a little bit more team specific film work and drilling on set pieces might help.

Our first 11 is only second to Citieh. If the owners invest generously we can have a rivaling bench which will allow the club to go for all cups available. The owners have to understand that it might take more than one transfer window to get the manager needs. Defensively we need experienced , fast and equally strong supporting cast....same with the middle.

Tierney is a great player .. defensively he quick and solid and atttack down the flank he is so good would love him to stay. He can get plenty of game time playing that role and if he can learn to play cb I think he maybe an option at lcb if gabi is injured or suspended

Holding's hairband is emblematic of this entire Arsenal season. Once thought to be permanently put to the side, it has arisen in triumph.

I am extremely happy with this win and our league position. But I was disappointed we didn't get through. I feel our gaffer threw that game away. There is an international break, we could have played our best team and blow sporting away. We are a big team, we need to compete like one. The only cup I am sure we didn't throw away was the FA cup. I thought at least we could go for the Europa league and EPL

Every time I hear "blessings in disguise" used with Arsenal, it brings back bad memories. We've said that several times over the last 19yrs when we were in a similar position, but still ended up failing. I know things are different with this team, but after all I've seen throughout the years, I'm only cautiously optimistic.

I'm sure no one is gonna believe this but at the start of the season, I actually predicted us winning the EPL. Reason being that we lost top 4 to our biggest rivals Spurs so we had to use that frustration and anger to aim higher than top 4 and win the PL I'm gonna stay on my feet though and just hope and pray we do it this season🙏 COYG🔴

I really would have loved for Arsenal to have won the PL and the EL but we have to be realistic. The EL was a distraction even before the WC break our matches after Thursday EL action weren’t great. The team were dropping off in the 2nd half and that is why I’m not too concerned about the EL. If we weren’t in the position where we currently are in the PL then I would have wanted a stronger run in both the EL and FA cup. However because we are where we are in the PL I would rather focus on that. Next season our younger more inexperienced players like Veira, Kwior, etc will be better. Also we will have guys like ESR who will get a full pre-season. Hopefully Balagoun will be back too. So even without any transfers we will have a stronger squad. Once you factor in possible signings then we could have a very, very strong squad. Potentially more depth in the right side of our attack. More depth in the middle of the park, and maybe more depth at center back too. The future is exciting but lets just get this title wrapped up and then dream of what could come next.

I think Tierney at Left back and Martinelli (or Trossard) on the Left wing would be great against low blocks after what I saw yesterday.

Getting knocked out of Europa was one of the best things to happen for Us right now,we don't have the same squad depth as City to play all competitions this season. Now we can fully focus on the league with no distractions.

I was an arteta out fool during the transition but this season the togetherness he has created among teammates and fans support is one that might surpass Wenger's....if he gets us 2 EPL CUPs. He needs to be the exception to the rule and stay with Arsenal for at least 7-8 years. The days of 2 decades at a club are gone and as a Spanish his goal might be managing the big clubs of Spain. However, he owe us and we owe him at least 8 yeas or more if possible with Arsenal. The next 10 matches are important but not career breakers....I just love the love and togetherness he brought back for us and the club. The only blemish in this picture is the owners. Good analysis as usual however you are overlooking one part of Saka’s play on the right. In the opening 20 minutes against Palace he lost the ball I counted 6 times cutting inside allowing Palace chances to counter. Against better teams this will prove costly. Saka can not cut inside against teams such as Liverpool and City his ball retention must be better or we will be punished. Please watch the opening 20mins of Palace game count how many times Saka loses the ball. The rest of his game is brilliant however this part must be addressed.

However we’re gonna be in champions league next year and we need more squad depth to allow to play two games a week and we’ll be playing much better teams.

I first want to say that I LOVE KIERAN TIERNEY! He was a bright spot in a really gray period (the past 2-3 seasons) for Arsenal. That being said, the 3rd goal displays in no ambiguous terms why Zinchenko is the preferred "left back". Our 3rd goal DOES NOT HAPPEN without Zinny's pass to Xhaka. I doubt many "left backs" can see that pass, let alone have the technique to actually execute it.

Happy to be out of the Europa. Concentration on the league increases our chances tenfold. This season, we don’t have the squad to risk multiple possible 120 minute matches which the fatigue and injury risk it can bring to the league campaign.

I thought Rob Holding was brilliant against Palace. He stepped up to the plate and had a great game. As for Tierney leaving us. Nope. OK! So he's NOT the player that Zinchenko is, but he gives Martinelli more support. The support that Saka has with White on the right. And if you've noticed with Tierney, quite often he's stepping into midfield like Zinchenko does. Ben White had a great game too. Once he'd sussed out how Zaha plays. As for our attack. A superb all round performance. You've gotta go back to the 4th january the last time they conceded more than 3 goals _(However, I can't draw out myself into saying who that was against...
