I have been following Sheikh Imran since 2011. I have read almost all his books and watched literally all his videos on KZhome (many videos that i deemed important to me, i listened several times). This video i find to be the sublimation of his incredible life work. I was very moved. And it is the summary in “bullet points” of his detailed, insightful and brilliant study of Qur’an and ahadith and their application to the history and the reality of the world. One of the most profound lectures. May Allah bless Sheikh Imran limitlessly.

I agree, dear Sheikh, Christianity in the West has been in decline and become godless: Gender mainstream, climate change and political statements are most prominent in many of the churches nowadays, not the teachings of Jesus. The first translation is the bridge between the Arabic language so the reader understands intellectually and precisely as to weather or not they understand, “ (as quoted by the Sheikh) not only the mind but the heart must also understand “what is being read in the language of the reader” even if the person lives in the smallest part of the world where language can be translated with difficulty perhaps but it can be done.

Salamun Alaikum Sheikh. A human in his early life has the option to choose what is right and what is wrong and live his life accordingly. At the afternoon of his life, his choices are constricted by what he has already done. Like a spring from a high mountain , he will have a freefall . If he has good deeds he does not have worry but if he has bad deeds , he is doomed. At the afternoon , sun dives into darkness. At the afternoon , a human does not have much of a choice but to accept the inevitable. Similarly , a civilization has its early time. That time if its foundation is based on justice and truth , it will have a long lasting life. If its foundation is based on arrogance, wickedry and injustice it will have a free fall into painful destruction at its end.

Dear Mr Imran. Always i am listening to you for nearly 10 years. I'm praying as a Buddhist person with the creator Father God and the Universe carrying in my daily heart.. I first watched your videos almost Four Years ago and all you said in tht Video is happening right now infront of our eyes. Assalaam O Alaikum, I am Ali, a student living in Glasgow. I came to attend this lecture of yours with my brother. After you finished and everyone got up, we approached you to ask a question. You told us that you would answer it after Asr prayer. However, you soon began answering other people’s questions and taking photos with them. We reminded you twice about our question and you told us that you would soon answer it. We were the first to approach you, yet you made us wait till the very end. After answering the last person’s question, you got up and left the room. We reminded you when you were leaving but you then refused to answer our question, saying that you were in a rush to leave. Even a member of the audience tried to persuade you to give us two minutes but you refused. I do not understand what made us two less important than the rest of the audience that day. Just like everyone else, we spent our Sunday and travelled far to come and listen to you. Is it because we were teenagers? Are they considered inferior citizens in the Islam that you teach? The way you treated us was disgusting and as an Islamic scholar, you should be ashamed and should apologise.

Salamoun alaikum, sheikh... For me, the reference to apes is directed at those who have bought into the evolutionary hypothesis and accepted the idea that they are descended from apes. So it is a warning to the whole of modern civilisation. As far as Gog and Magog are concerned, since it is accepted that they are capable of drinking the whole of Lake Tiberias to quench their thirst, it is clear to me that it is Western industrial civilisation that is so designated because it alone is capable of causing the total exhaustion of a natural resource.

He is the man with great insight. May Allah protect him and increase his life.

Some questions asked to sheikh imran hossein show that many many Muslims DON'Tread extensively so that explanations of sheikh become easy. I have been able to read extensively courtesy of sheikh imran hossein and the more I read the more peace I get the more I even understand the little that Allah has granted me.

I have been following sheikh imran ( also hamza yusuf) after watching the arrivals in 2011. Blessed to be listening to him.

Important initial reminders by Sheikh: While hadith are important, it is with absolute truth in the Qur'an that we must judge the hadith. If the hadith is in harmony with the Qur'an we accept it. If the hadith is in conflict with the Qur'an we stay with the Qur'an. If the hadith is neither in harmony nor in conflict with the Qur'an, we accept it but it has a lower status and cannot be used to start a boxing match with our fellow believers. The tafasir (commentaries) of the Qur'an also do not have the status of absolute truth and do not exhaust the meaning of the Quran Finally, the miraculous Book of Allah cannot be translated, the best that can be done is EXPLAIN the Qu'ran in different languages

Sheikh is a great scholar, May Allah bless him, One question which hasn't been clarified as yet, although, there can be other questions as well as Sheikh expresses himself his lack of understanding regarding certain things which came later to him : When Sheikh says that they say Laillah and the walls of the city will fall, Now, we all know that even orthodox Christians believe in the trione God, then who will be these Muslim children of Israel to whom the city will fall just by saying Laillah without a fight?

Quran is a divine poetic recitation, sent down in Arabic language. You can't translate it to another language. Once you do, it will lose its' miraculous poetic nature and can't be recited.

Asalamualikum. One of those lectures which I can listen even if it is 4 hours long non have explained western civilization like this. There is only one connection that I am not able to full make, in Surah Araf when Allah says that "Ask them about a Town which was near the sea and there fish came to them only on Saturday....." My question is this statement is refrying to a event that has already occurred before the Quran was reveled ? so Rum has already been separated in to two before the Quran came and the part that did not fish remained in Constantinople, and got defeated by Persia? Shaykh the Latin languages and every other language sub branches don’t have the lexicon and sub verb/synonym structure to be able to intelectualize and articulate the Surahs as deep as they are in the Quran al Arabia. Most languages don’t have the eloquence and verbal mastery that the Arabs of the 600s had. Hence why their poets could bring people to tears. As well as why this will be the language of Jannah.

Gog and Magog is the land of Georgia , Armenia and Azerbaijan the Caucasus mountain ranges - the people who lived there at the time of Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him are important to us , Mongols and Vikings didn't live in the Caspian Steppe.

I'm confused. Isa bin Maryam was born to the Children of Israel and his message was for Bani Israel only. It was Saul of Tarsus who spread the teachings of Isa bin Maryam to the Gentiles including the Romans. Were the Orthodox Byzantine Empire descended from Bani Israel or Gentiles?
